I don’t know if you’ve seen NPeaches recently but instead of a website there is a photo very determined man…ready to see what’s next for NPeahces. Aren’t we all!?
Starting March 1st, you will see an all new kind of NPeaches, more in-line with who we are becoming as a comedy arts organization.
Keep your eyes peeled March 1st!

We’ve slowly begun doing this with our videos on YouTube but the area we want to focus on WebM exclusive releases are on Torrents. We’ll keep offering a YouTube viewing but for those of you interested in a torrent we’ll serving it up, open video codec style!
What is WebM? Put simply it is a license free and open video format. We’re doing our part in helping overtake proprietary formats by offering it with our HD torrents. Here’s a quote from the WebM Project site:
The WebM project is dedicated to developing a high-quality, open video format for the web that is freely available to everyone.
WebM is supported by Mozilla, Opera, Adobe, Google and more than seventy other publishers and software and hardware vendors.
Beyond torrenting, we also plan to use WebM for future endeavors with Mozilla Popcorn and (hopefully) our own HTML5 player.
The first official experiment with WebM starts this February with Ronaldo Tours! Be sure to check that out to see WebM in action.

Like many other sites yesterday, NPeaches participated in a protest against the SOPA and PIPA bills that are currently generating a lot of concern and threatening the future of the web.
Should either of these bills be passed, they will effect the web in a profound way. <==Thanks Captain Obvious! But seriously, it is critical to realize how far reaching these bills seek to impact the landscape of the web.
NPeaches exists to avoid shoehorning the control, business trends and models of TV and Hollywood into the web. A world where SOPA and PIPA work is a world that sites like NPeaches and many others simply don't fit. The web is unshackled, free and open so that comprising integrity doesn't even need to be a consideration.
Please, understand your rights and understand how these bills can ultimately limit you and the internet that you enjoy.

We’ve been slowly doing this with our content over the past few months with the emergence of the CC license option on YouTube uploads but now we are making it official by including the specific license.
We will consistently provide the specific CC license that each episode falls under. This will vary depending on what content is included in any given show but the most common of the six CC licenses we will use is the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike.
From the CC site:
This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.

We are proud to announce with that NPeaches.Com has switched to NPeaches.Org. Due to our prospects in the realm of free/open source projects, grant issuing and shows with direct public value we feel that .Org better represents who we are becoming.
Don’t worry, NPeaches.Com will still work and so will NientePeaches.Com.
